The Technical University of Crete (TU Crete) was established in 1977 and today it houses about 3000 students both graduate and undergraduate at the city of Chania, in the Island of Crete, Greece. The TU Crete has a staff of more than 400 permanent professors and researchers. TU Crete joins the iNTeg-Risk project via its research activities on Industrial Risk Management in the Ergonomics Lab of the Department of Production Engineering & Management. The research activities of the laboratory are devoted to the study of hazard analysis and assessment in complex industrial systems where hazards of major accidents are present involving dangerous substances.
