Agrofood is a non-profit organization that develops its activity in the agri-food sector and provides information services, identification and capture of collaborative business opportunities, identification and management of cooperation projects.

It currently includes more than 180 associated companies and works for more than 500 companies from all productive agri-food sectors, such as canned vegetables, juices, citrus derivatives, olives and pickles, frozen meat, fish and other alcoholic beverages, cheese and dairy products. Associated companies represent more than 80% of the agri-food and agricultural industry in the Region of Murcia and an important part of the provinces of Alicante and Albacete, representing more than 10,000 direct jobs.

The activity subsectors or priority business areas are agricultural processing, vegetable processing, fourth and fifth range agri-food products, functional food.

Its objectives and forecasts are to promote a climate of cooperation between companies in the agri-food sector, generate new business opportunities, development of technical, technological and management capacities, visibility and representation of common interests, protection and awareness of the environment.

Agrofood is a meeting point for entities that, with a very entrepreneurial nature, come together to work together on solutions that develop cooperation projects in the area of activity, influence or interest they share.
