Created in 1972 by Law No. 72/LF/5 of May 23, 1972 on the organization of the legal profession, the Cameroon Bar Association whose headquarters, still in Yaoundé, is today at the Avenue Charles ATANGANA behind the OLEZOA Officers' Mess has undergone several modifications. It operates today under Law No. 90/059 of December 19, 1990 organizing the legal profession.
