About

The Archdiocesan Catholic Secretariat comprises two coordinating offices namely:

• Ethiopian Catholic Church Pastoral Coordinating Office of Addis Ababa (ECC-PACO-Addis Ababa) and

• Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Coordinating Office (ECC-SDCO Addis Ababa).

In addition to the two coordination offices, the ACS St Michael Socio Pastoral Training Center has been providing training services/facilities for the Socio-pastoral and development activities/programs of the Archdiocese. In view of responding to the growing demand and responsibilities and also in order to provide better socio-pastoral and development services to the concerned community/faithful two branch offices have been set up in the 2005 G.C at Bahir Dar and Kombolcha towns. Since April 2010 the status of Bahir Dar Area has been elevated to Bahir Dar Pastoral Territory following the appointment of His Excellency Abune Lesanu Christos Matheos as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Addis Ababa with a particular responsibility for Bahir Dar Pastoral Territory.
