MAETUR - Urban and Rural Land Development and Equipment Authority/ Mission d’Amenagement et d’Equipement des Terrains Urbains et Ruraux

The purpose of MAETUR is to carry out or have carried out, under its responsibility, land development and equipment operations with a view to real estate and housing development throughout the Republic of Cameroon.

MAETUR is heavily involved as Project Manager and Delegated Project Owner in major State projects:

Yaoundé-Nsimalen Highway
New Etoudi Administrative Center in Yaoundé
Development of the Olembé district in Yaoundé. Development of 288 ha north of Yaoundé intended to accommodate a world-class multi-sports complex (football stadium and accompanying equipment), mass production of housing (6,000 housing units in apartments) and subdivisions for housing, shops and community facilities.
In summary, MAETUR is an instrument of the Cameroonian State which has produced more than 60,000 plots and developed spaces that today house nearly two million city dwellers in 15 cities across the country.
