About
With a capital of 100,000,000 FCFA , the establishment opened in 2007 under the acronym FINAD SA in the cities of Yaoundé and Douala. It became FOCEP SA (Cameroonian Savings Fund for Progress) in 2010 with the obtaining of its approval, its capital thus increasing to 270,000,000 FCFA released by the group of shareholders.
Its expansion dynamics initiated will allow it between 2011 and 2015 to create other agencies like the Mokolo agencies in Yaoundé , those of Ndokoti , Anatole , Mboppi and Akwa in the city of Douala as well as the NDJIEMOUN agency in the West of Cameroon in the city of Bafoussam .
FOCEP SA increases its capital to 600,000,000 FCFA , following the adoption of the new regulation relating to the conditions of exercise and control of the microfinance activity in the CEMAC in 2018.
In the same dynamic, in order to strengthen its equity and have more intervention capacity, FOCEP SA proceeded in 2019 to an increase in its capital associated with the arrival of new partners. The company's capital is now 1,041,000,000 FCFA .
FOCEP SA aims to significantly impact the development of the Microfinance sector in Cameroon through its new partnerships developed in order to better serve and increase its client portfolio, currently estimated at nearly 20,000 account holders .
