Established in 2007, Al Istiqlal University is a higher-education institution located in the large town of Jericho (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), West Bank. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Palestinian Territory, Al Istiqlal University (IU) is a coeducational Palestinian higher education institution.
