Social System Design Co., Ltd. is starting from a small scale, but we would like to provide services that combine mathematics, IT, consulting, and management. The Department of Systems Innovation was established in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Tokyo 12 years ago, and Miyata played a central role. I named this innovative department because I was convinced that the 21st century was the age of systems. Mankind reached the moon more than 40 years ago, but in terms of system technology, it is not the current technology. In other words, system technology has degenerated. Probably because talented people have moved to another field. The last quarter century of the 20th century was the age of semiconductors, but from now on, we must create a new era suitable for the 21st century. Ships and nuclear power plants are systems, but from now on, we must create a system that connects nature and humans in a more correct way. The development and dissemination of electric power systems that introduce renewable energy power generation and secondary batteries is one of the most important.
