Open Leader aims at the economic, cultural and social development of the territory .

It carries out activities as a local development agency and consultancy for both private individuals and public bodies .
It is a limited liability consortium company with mixed public / private capital and is a LAG (Local Action Group), as a beneficiary of European programs as foreseen by the LEADER European Union program .

LEADER is the acronym for Liaison Èntre Actions de Developpement de l'Economie Rurale (link between the development actions of the rural economy).
Liaison is the word that encompasses the key concept of the inspiring philosophy of the Leader program and means bond, coordination, direction.
