Optimist Association / Udruzenje Optimist

The Optimist Association was founded on February 1, 2006. in Bosilegrad with the mission of economic empowerment of the municipality and the south of Serbia, through raising the capacity, motivation and skills of key actors, and above all young and vulnerable population groups. The association was founded by a group of enthusiasts who already had experience working in non-governmental organizations, and in response to the need for an independent institution in Bosilegrad that, with its experience and engagement, will contribute to improving the social status of the population and the quality of life in the municipality, in general. After 15 years of existence and more than 40 successfully implemented projects, the Association is proud of the good reputation it enjoys among donors, partners and, what is very important, among users and the population.
