Heritage Management Services (HMS) is a cultural resource management company based in Brussels. HMS identifies and assesses the impact of development projects on cultural heritage resources (i.e. archaeological remains, historical monuments and sacred sites).

Our working philosophy is that the role of consultants is as much to promote our client's interests as protect sub-Saharan Africa's cultural resources.

Our base in Brussels gives us easy access to the Royal Museum of Central Africa in Tervuren, which houses one of the world’s most up-to-date libraries on Africa’s history, archaeology, anthropology and geology, etc. Due to our long-standing membership at the Society of Africanist Archaeologists, we have an important database of African and international experts.
