Buno Bedele Farmers Cooperative Union

Buno Bedele Farmers Cooperative Union was established in 2003 as a multipurpose cooperative Union with fifteen legally registered primary agricultural cooperatives from nine Woredas (districts) with 6,286 (6,071 male & 215 female) members. Presently, the union is comprised of 57 primary cooperative with 22,640 (22,004 male and 636 female) members in nine Woredas.

The main tasks of the union are distributing agricultural inputs to members of the primary cooperatives on credit basis; purchasing of agricultural products at reasonable price from member farmers.

The union is member of the oil seeds and edible oil value chain coordination group.
