SADC - Selma Agriculture Development Corporation

Selma Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC) was established in 2012 and registered as a sole proprietorship business owned and operated by Mr. John G. Selma, the Chief Executive Officer. Selma Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC) has grown into rice aggregation and processing company that still maintains a small farming operation. The Corporation is situated in Voinjama, Lofa County along the Selega Road, and engages in agriculture activities - growing both upland and low land rice; processing and production of milled rice for marketing to the general public. It objective is profit making. The Company has served as a very successful organization since its establishment in 2012 working with local rice based farming organizations, small holding farmers, individual farmers, providing both technical and financial support in enhancing the farming activities for large scale rice production. SADC has benefited over the years some technical/financial support from the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), FED, USAID/CNFA, FAO, and the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) including Partner World Wide for the overgrowth of the company. Today, the Company can boost of an industrial mill that when completed, can produce 16 metric ton of milled rice per day, and an ongoing USADF sponsored warehouse construction to count few among partners’ assistance. Our consumer is the general local Liberian market which is normally supported by NGOs.
