What is Solvatten? The SOLVATTEN® Solar safe water system is a robust and reliable household water solution providing safe and warm water enough for a family (5-6p). The solution combines three well- documented water treatment methods: filtration, pasteurization and UV sterilization and an indicator shows when the treatment process has finished. The benefits and effectiveness of SOLVATTEN® are proven, today the product is used by more than 80'000 people and both the product and company have received recognition for its positive social and environmental impact.
By harnessing sunshine to heat and treat water, users of SOLVATTEN® instantly enjoy significant household savings and improvements in the quality of life. Traditional fuels account for over 60% of total energy throughout sub-Saharan Africa. With a solar solution such as SOLVATTEN® at home the need can be replaced with as much as 50%.
