ActionAid International Tanzania is a non-political, non-religious organisation that started as a cross-border programme from Kenya in 1998 and became a full-fledged country programme in 2000.
Our strategic objective is to work with the poor and marginaised communities so as to strengthen their capacity to advocate for international and national policies that promote their rights to a world without poverty. Our areas of work are in agriculture and food security, land rights, education, HIV/AIDS, just and democratic governance and women\'s rights and youth.
