Zoil is an oil and hazardous waste management company certified by the Ghana Environmental Protection Agency as an industrial waste management company. ZOIL was registered as a company in February 2009 to manage hazardous and non-hazardous wastes in the sub-region. ZOIL operates an ultra-modern Anaerobic Thermal Desorption Unit (ATDU), an industrial incinerator and wastewater treatment system to manage industrial wastes. The ATDU was commissioned in June 2014 and it is currently the only one of its kind operating in Ghana.
