The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster (ROHEALTH)

RoHealth aims to generate and apply health-related initiatives and relevant activities which will further lead to its development as a national cluster for competitiveness and innovation. RoHealth undertakes to promote and encourage cooperation between private companies, research organizations, universities and public bodies/authorities which will lead to increasing the health’s economic competitiveness.

RoHealth’s objectives include:

• Increasing the economic competitiveness of the cluster and its members;
• Enhancing cooperation between private companies, research organizations, universities and public bodies/ authorities;
• Increasing the research, development and innovation capacity of the cluster and its members and encouraging their access to research activities;
• Development of specific activities in order to insure the principles of sustainable development in health sector;
• Development of technological transfer in universities and research structures, including (but not limited to) the transfer of research results from the cluster’s members to socio-economic entities, capable to capitalize knowledge in their or society benefit;
• Promotion and participation in policymaking, management and competitiveness in the health sector;
• Promoting the cluster as well as the results of the cluster’s members within the scientific and business community in Romania, EU and the other non-EU countries;
