The Pearl River Water Conservancy Research Institute of the Pearl River Water Conservancy Commission (hereinafter referred to as the "Pearl River Water Conservancy Research Institute") is a sub-bureau-level institution directly under the Pearl River Water Conservancy Commission.
The Pearl River Water Conservancy Research Institute of the Pearl River Water Conservancy Commission, formerly known as the Pearl River Water Conservancy Commission Scientific Research Institute, was established in 1979 with the approval of the State Council and was established together with the Pearl River Water Conservancy Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources. Basic research and applied basic research, undertake the research tasks of major water conservancy scientific and technological issues, difficult issues and key applied technical issues in the water conservancy industry in the Pearl River Basin, provide scientific and technological support for the national water conservancy, the management, development and protection of the Pearl River Basin, and also face the national economy.
