Global Humanitarian Services (GHS)

Global Humanitarian Services (GHS) is a new WFP unit established to provide direct access to the complete catalogue of turn-key solutions available through WFP Dubai. From IT and telecoms, vehicles, medical kits and prefab offices, GHS can provide a wide range of goods and services at competitive prices.

GHS has streamlined the procurement process by providing a single point of contact for clients wishing to buy goods and services from WFP Dubai. UN and non-UN partners alike can acquire goods, training and services to support their humanitarian operations quickly and easily. From a client perspective, this ensures a consistency of service, maximizes efficiency, fosters the familiarity central to good business relations and frees up time to spend on core operations.

The speed with which GHS is able to fulfill client requests has resulted in a series of sales agreements with other UN agencies and NGOs.
