The beginnings of Dada Dada and Company are preceded by the introduction that the international company, of Swedish origin, Ericsson makes to the country with the first four telephone devices. After this innovation, our company began operations in 1925 in order to provide software and hadware solutions to companies in El Salvador.
Our impeccable work, dominance of the industry, financial strength and excellent business relations led us to reach a business agreement in 1940 with Ericsson who made us the exclusive representative for El Salvador. The binomial with this company generated great business opportunities and commercial expansion in the next decade of our history, since we also introduced ourselves to public infrastructure development projects in telecommunications. At that time, our country began to grow in the area of telecommunication.
Since 1951, the growing apogee of telecommunications has been representing the installation of the first automatic telephone exchange, ERICSSON brand, type AGF, with a capacity of 5,000 subscribers (digit 21). This causes the sale and installation of a large number of telephone devices that were supplied by the Swedish firm and marketed by DADA DADA and Company. A year later, we continued with the commercialization of central battery switches, which were destined to rural and urban telecommunications development projects in the interior of the republic.
In the sixties, the telecommunications needs of the country continued to increase and that is how we started the commercialization of electromechanical plants (based on relays), driven by rotary selectors; as well as current, secretarial or magneto DIALOG telephone devices, and ERICOFON models for use in rooms and ERICOVOCs.
