Santa Marcelina Cultura

Created in 2008, Santa Marcelina Cultura is a non-profit association, qualified as a Social Organization of Culture by the Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo. He is responsible for managing the Guri of the capital and metropolitan region of São Paulo and the School of Music of the State of São Paulo – Tom Jobim (EMESP Tom Jobim). The objective of Santa Marcelina Cultura is to develop a complete cycle of musical training integrated into a sociocultural inclusion project, promoting the training of people for life and for society. Since May 2017, Santa Marcelina Cultura has also managed Theatro São Pedro, developing work aimed at quality professional operatic staging combined with the training of young singers and instrumentalists for the practice and operatic repertoire, in addition to focusing on the dissemination of symphonic and chamber music with regular performances at the Theater.
