Independent consultancy and assistance center “For the Sake of Civil Society” (FSCS) is one of the oldest NGOs in Azerbaijan, which was established and registered by Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan Republic in 1998. FSCS’s main goal is to assist the formation of civil society and the strengthening of democratic institutions in Azerbaijan. The other priority direction in FSCS activity is the work with institutions of local self-government. Experts of FSCS participated in a number of international trainings and conferences and have considerable experience on conducting of different type of projects.

During the years of its activity FSCS established close partnership with foreign, international organizations and governmental structures. Thanks to this cooperation FSCS managed to implement more than 60 projects on national and international levels. These are the main projects implemented by FSCS:
