Since its creation in 1963, the Institute of European Studies of the Free University of Brussels - University of Europe has been a key player in the four fields of research, teaching and public debate. and international relations, which has earned it the status of Jean Monnet as a European center of excellence. Institute of European Studieswas the result of an early intuition of the academic authorities of the Free University of Brussels.
