CeRADIS

CeRADIS is an organization with a national and international vocation, governed by the law of July 1, 1901. Created almost fifteen years ago, it works to improve the living conditions of populations in the fields of public and community health.

It has adopted as a development issue the fight against HIV-AIDS, the promotion of health and sexual and reproductive rights and the empowerment of grassroots communities.

Its intervention principles are as follows: participatory analysis of the context, community and political mobilization, integration of HIV-AIDS and reproductive health issues, rights-based approach, integration of gender approach in projects and programs, communication and advocacy.

Its operation is governed by its fundamental texts (statutes, internal regulations and manuals of procedures) and its bodies which are the Board of Directors, the General Assembly, the Conflict Resolution Committee, the Statutory Auditors and the Executive Management.

The target audiences for its actions, made up of young people and women, are involved in its operation at two major levels: central and regional through its departmental branches.

The types of actions initiated by CeRADIS are linked, on the one hand, to prevention and psychosocial management of STIs/HIV-AIDS, and, on the other hand, to advocacy for access to care and HIV/AIDS treatment and promotion of the sexual and reproductive rights of vulnerable populations with cross-cutting actions including training, production and sustainable dissemination of educational materials for behavior change.

CeRADIS is affiliated with several networks and coalitions both locally and internationally and enjoys credibility with its public and its financial, technical, institutional and associative partners that it has succeeded in forging over the years.
