On January 1, 2020, 4 traditional companies from the ÅF Pöyry Group merged: AF-CITYPLAN, AF-Consult Czech Republic, AF-Engineering and AF Nuclear Projects. The merger has created a company with a unique range of services, covering the areas of architecture, transport, industry, energy, buildings and infrastructure.

The history of the company dates back to the early 1990s, when CityPlan and MEACONT Praha were individually founded as progressive companies focused on sustainability and infrastructure development of cities and regions and on energy. Between 2010 and 2012 there has been integrating the two companies into a strong international group AF Pöyry based in Sweden. And both companies got blessed with a strong new sister - company AF-Engineering. All companies operated from the beginning in Brno, Pilsen and Prague.

Over 28 years of experience enable us to deliver a wide range and complexity of services offered in consulting, design, and engineering services in many areas. Several significant domestic and international awards for our high-quality work have confirmed the position of the AFRY CZ as a stable and reliable company in the national competitive environment and a leader in several areas.

We realize that not only the breadth and complexity of services but also the reliability and quality of our solutions are important to our partners and clients. AFRY CZ is continuously improving services, for example by increasing our knowledge and skills in BIM and implementing PRINCE2® standards as well.
