The Beninese Association for Family Promotion (ABPF) is a Non Governmental Organization established in 1970 and recognized by the Government of Benin in 1972. It is a pioneer in sexual and reproductive health and provides services to all segments of the population throughout the country.

ABPF ensures past 40 years, leadership in the field of sexual and reproductive health through the development of various programs and projects aimed at improving the living standards of all social strata . It is present in all departments of Benin provides services and sexual and reproductive health through six regional clinical reference , a national reference , modern biomedical laboratory , medical imaging unit so that an extensive network of community-based services . Its extensive advocacy enabled him to gain the support of political and administrative , technical and financial partners , religious and community leaders to extend its services to improve people\\\'s access to family planning services as an essential strategy for achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
