About
The Network of Non-Governmental Organizations for the Sustainable Development Goals (RODD) is a group of more than 633 NGOs present not only in the 12 Departments but also in the 77 Communes of Benin.
Created on December 3, 2016, the Network of NGOs for the Sustainable Development Goals (RODD) brings together more than 633 NGOs throughout the national territory. It is present in the 77 communes that Benin has. Since its creation, the Rodd has initiated several actions that are in line with the objectives set in the 2030 agenda of the United Nations program.
Sustainable development is an inclusive and long-term process. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a plan of action for people (people), the planet, peace and prosperity. Broken down into a series of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it aims to end poverty and transform our lives while protecting the planet for future generations, based on a renewed partnership between all countries and actors in society. The great challenge of this program is now to bring together and mobilize all the actors in all their richness and diversity.
