About
Le Réseau de Développement des Femmes Pauvres (RDFP en sigle), The Poor Women's Development Network (PWDN) in English, is an organization for the Advancement of Poor Women, in the field of Social Justice, the Culture of Peace and Sustainable Development. She was born on October 15, 2009 on the initiative of women activists who still fight for women's rights. It works in collaboration with various State Institutions, civil society and other partners related to its mission. Her vision is to have a Rwandan society where all women enjoy their rights.
Its main mission is to contribute to building the capacities of women, children and young people from poor households.
Its objective is to promote sustainable development based on the consideration of social justice, the gender dimension, the culture of peace, the contribution to the eradication of all forms of discrimination against women, the strengthening of the socio-economic, political and legal power of poor women. The promotion of gender, health, and environmental protection are crosscutting themes in the programs of the Poor Women's Development Network
