WSP in New Zealand operations are governed by an integrated management system, combining WSP’s global guiding principles with a project management process designed and developed here in New Zealand, to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

All of our New Zealand offices are covered by a programme of annual external audits by DNV GL, and are certified according to the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JASANZ), to conform to the following international management system standards:

-ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard
-14001:2015 Environmental Management System Standard
-45001:2018 Health & Safety Management System Standard

We were awarded certification to the 45001:2018 Standard in March 2019. The ISO 45001 standard provides a framework to develop Health and Safety management systems which: improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks, create better, safer working conditions, and is designed to help organisations of all sizes and industries. We are the only large New Zealand Consultancy to hold this accreditation and one of only 44 organisations New Zealand-wide to have achieved this standard of Health & Safety Management.
