Andre Foods International, Country Office

In Uganda, Andre Foods International (AFI) is a legally recognized national non-governmental organization (NGO). Since the 2000s, it was known as Andre Foods Consult (AFC) and offered multifaceted solutions to issues relating to food and nutrition, water, and the state of the environment.

The company has been engaged in consultation and research projects, all focused on tackling community nutritional concerns, mostly in the Teso, West Nile, and Karamoja subregions of north-eastern Uganda.

The provision of high-quality services to its benefactors is Andre Foods International's (AFI) main purpose. The organization's services mainly consist of community-based nutrition programs for better food security, household stability, and a decrease in diseases and shortages linked to nutrition.

AFI is dedicated to taking action today and making investments for the future with the help of a variety of partners, from locally-based groups to international networks, who provide their skills, experience, and voices to increase the impact.

Through its initiatives, the organization provides hot meals to people in need, runs community gardens that cultivate fresh produce, and instructs people on how to eat healthily and preserve food.

Besides offering immediate assistance, it attempts to address the root causes of food insecurity and promote laws and initiatives that promote universal access to food.
