Abertis is the prime operator of toll motorways in Spain, managing the most kilometres. It has a total of 1,526 kilometres of motorway, which represents 59% of all the toll roads in the country. Likewise, abertis participates as a non-majority in a total of 245 kilometres in other motorway and tunnel concessions.

In 2012 an agreement was reached between BTG Pactual and abertis with the Catalonian Government for the management of the Vallvidrera Tunnels and the Cadí Tunnels.
