About
The mission of the Great Smokies Health Foundation is to improve the health status of the residents of Jackson, Swain, Macon, and Graham counties through investment and collaboration focused on health, wellness, and prevention. The Foundation is governed by a local board with representatives from the communities being served.
Organizations seeking funding from the Great Smokies Health Foundation must be either a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency with a current Charitable Solicitation License issued by the North Carolina Secretary of State, or a city, county or other governmental agency.
The Foundation is currently working with our community healthcare providers and agencies to identify areas for future strategically-focused funding. Please contact the Foundation's staff with any questions regarding eligibility or our annual grant application process.
