Centre for Widows and Children Assistance (CWCA)

The Centre for Widows and Children Assistance (CWCA) is a non-partisan, non-profit making and non-governmental human rights organization with its main Office at Kariakoo area, Sikukuu Street within Ilala Municipality in Dar es Salaam- Tanzania (East Africa) and has a branch at Mara region.

The Centre for Widows and Children Assistance aims at supporting widows and children in a short and long term physical and emotion well being and advancement. It intends to restore the dignity of widows and children who have undergone torture, humiliation, harassment and eviction so as to enable them to realize their personal rights. Currently, CWCA has a membership of 58 individuals and non government organizations.
