ADS Eastern - Anglican Development Services Eastern

With its main office in Wamunyu, Machakos, Anglican Development Services Eastern (ADSE) is the development division of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), which includes the dioceses of Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, and Garissa. ADSE serves as the national Coordinating Office responsible for advocacy, research & development, and technical support.

The purpose of the organization is to enable communities to have safe and sustainable means of subsistence. Its growth-oriented objective, which is informed by its five-year strategic plan (2020-2025), is to assist communities in realizing secure livelihoods that include enough food supply, safe drinking water, income stability, improved health, and resilience to impacts of climate change, safeguarding children, and mainstreaming problems such as disability, HIV/Aids, and gender.

A number of Dioceses and Counties are assigned to each of our ten regional offices, which are dispersed around the nation.
