Youth Encouragement Services (YES) Uganda

They are a Christian NGO situated in Fort Portal, Uganda. The aim of Youth Encouragement Services is to improve the welfare of orphaned and vulnerable youth, including children born HIV+. Since 1996, they have been helping those who have no one able to care for them. They strive for sustainability and are currently employing over 20 staff.

We empower orphaned and vulnerable youth to become self-reliant and successful members of the community. With a primary focus on providing education, our scholarship program helps hundreds of children attend school. Additionally, we also have a home for HIV+ children that provides them the opportunity to live a secure, fulfilling, and productive life in a loving environment.
