WAIPA - World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies

The World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) is an international Non-governmental organization established in 1995 by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development that acts as a forum for investment promotion agencies (IPA), provides networking and promotes best practice in investment promotion.

Through its wide range of activities, WAIPA provides the opportunity for investment promotion agencies (IPAs) to network and exchange best practices in investment promotion. WAIPA has always dedicated, and continues to dedicate, time and effort towards building the human resources capacity of its Member agencies. Training events have been organized by WAIPA, alone or in coordination with partner organizations.

WAIPA is the premier organization that supports, gathers, and connects worldwide investment promotion agencies (IPAs), to exchange their experiences and expertise, and to provide them with research, training, events, and more.
