Zachor Foundation

The Zachor Foundation for Social Memory is a civil educational organization (zachor - Hebrew word, meaning: remember!). With the help of our pedagogical approach, educational programs, study materials and publications, our aim is to contribute to the fact that young people, in addition to acquiring knowledge about the past, are more sensitive and open to accepting each other.

Our teaching methodology emphasizes the pedagogical importance of the personal perspective. The focus of our teaching materials is the development of various competencies, the strengthening of critical thinking and social and emotional learning.

We want to help the development and improvement of 21st century competencies with digital educational materials, programs and professional training for teachers based on personal life stories.
