About

The History of the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe dates back to the late 18th century with the arrival of missionaries led initially by Andrew A. Louw from the Dutch Reformed Church of South Africa. Reformed Church Zimbabwe – International (UK) is a product of this strong Protestant Reformed Christian movement. As a result of career development, evangelical missions, educational advancement to mention but a few, compounded by globalisation, some members of RCZ relocated to the UK.

In June 2006 these members met for worship for the first time in Luton, UK. That became the birth of RCZI. Fundamentally, the church is an extension of the works of the RCZ in the UK. The church is guided by the vision, values and ethos of the mother church (RCZ) and thus the churches maintain a very close relationship.
Today the RCZI church has grown in leaps and bounds - spiritually, socially and can now be found in a number of towns and cities across the length and breath of England. Sunday worship is regularly conducted at ten centres namely: Luton; Leicester; London Central; London East and South East; Portsmouth; Reading; Birmingham; Northampton, Sheffield and Scotland.
