Colloquium Humanum EV

The non-profit association "Colloquium Humanum eV (CH)" based in Bonn was founded in 1960 by members of the federal government and serves as a forum for national and international encounters. It sets itself the task of promoting understanding between people of all races and cultures and helping to overcome prejudices, differences and discrimination. Lectures and discussion rounds, country evenings and information trips in Germany and abroad are organized for this purpose. These joint events with foreigners and Germans are intended to promote insights into the culture, customs and way of life in Germany.

The CH is free from party-political and religious affiliations. It received support from the Federal Foreign Office for many years. Many members belonged or belong to federal ministries. There is active cooperation with public and private institutions.
