Il Consorzio Del Vermouth Di Torino / Vermouth Institute of Turin

The Consortium has as its main purpose the protection, promotion, enhancement, supervision and general care of the interests of the GI "Vermouth di Torino". The Consortium carries out activities for the enhancement and promotion of the denomination and related brands, protection and care of the interests of the denomination and consumer information, surveillance activities for all subjects subject to the control of the IG "Vermouth di Torino" as well as any other activity and / or function attributed, delegated or permitted by current legislation.

After over twenty years of work, the Consortium was born in 2019 by the will of the Vermouth producers who, aware of the need for regulation, jointly defined a production specification approved by the Decree of 22 March 2017 with which the Ministry of Agriculture Alimentari e Forestali has regulated the geographical indication Vermouth di Torino / Vermouth di Torino. The Consorzio del Vermouth di Torino is the body that enhances, promotes and protects the denomination and the brands connected to it.

Currently the Vermouth Consortium includes 23 Members and is chaired by Roberto Bava.
