Hospital Universitario Reina Sofia

The Mission of the Reina Sofía University Hospital is to improve the health level of its reference population by providing highly specialized and quality healthcare, through the authorized service portfolio.

The Hospital will guarantee continuity of care through the necessary coordination with Primary Care.

It will ensure that the provision of services responds to the needs and expectations of citizens, incorporating the techniques, procedures and innovations that ensure a permanently updated and avant-garde portfolio, as befits a tertiary care hospital.

As a university hospital, the center's mission is to contribute to the training of undergraduate students in related disciplines: currently Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy.

Likewise, the mission of the Hospital is the training of specialist doctors in the different areas of knowledge.

Together with the Maimonides Institute for Biomedical Research of Córdoba (IMIBIC), the hospital has among its goals the promotion of innovation and quality research in areas related to health.
