All On Partnerships for Energy Access Limited by Guarantee (“All On”) is an independent, Nigerian registered not-for-profit Company limited by guarantee established in 2016 by Shell Petroleum Development Company Ltd (“Shell”) to act as a catalyst in the growth of Nigeria’s market for sustainable off-grid energy solutions.

Mission
Their mission is to increase access to commercial energy products and services for under-served and un-served off-grid energy markets in Nigeria, with a special focus on the Niger Delta sources in Nigeria.

Guiding Principles
In addition to these core values, All On is guided by the following principles:

1. Maximize benefits to Nigeria, and the Niger Delta, in all that they do. They aim to maximize their impact in relation to the pursuit of their mission and vision.
2. Ensure compliance and adhere to best standards. They will comply with all laws and regulations applicable to them as a company limited by guarantee in Nigeria.
3. Support sustainable development. They commit to support development that is sustainable and not dependent on donations or hand-outs.
4. Adhere to HSSE standards. They will not support any activity by any partner that cannot demonstrate, as a minimum, compliance with relevant national HSSE regulations and standards. Where appropriate, the Company helps partners to ensure continuous improvement with respect to HSSE.
5. Remain outside of political activity. They do not take part in party politics. When dealing with governments and political parties they may make their position known on any matters which affect their charitable objectives, their staff or the people impacted by their and their partners’ work.
6. Keep open communication and engagement with their stakeholders. They recognize regular dialogue and engagement with their stakeholders is essential to the development, implementation and ultimate success of their activities. They also have an obligation to spread information and good practice and to provide assurance to their stakeholders that they are achieving their mission in a legitimate manner.

Leveraging capital for the Nigerian off grid energy sector.

All On is looking to drive long-lasting impact through supporting the development and growth of commercially viable energy solutions. Due to the scale of capital required, All On supports and invests in enabling finance facilities that leverage additional capital for off grid companies.

3. Enabling Environment
Fostering a supportive business and regulatory environment for off grid energy companies to thrive.

All On works with strategic partners on advocacy and policy issues to fast track the creation of an enabling environment for the renewable energy sector.

All On promotes innovation and identification of promising business and deployment models, helps partners and entrepreneurs to obtain and share information effectively, commissions industry relevant research, contributes to capacity development, and other activities required to accelerate scaling of the off-grid energy sector in Nigeria.
