The Banque de l'Habitat of Senegal (BHS) is a public limited company with a board of directors, with a capital of 10 billion CFA francs. Created in 1979, it started its activities in March 1980.
Its main activity is the financing of real estate, home ownership, with a priority for social housing.

In its 37 years of existence, it has contributed to the creation of new districts in Dakar such as Grand Medina, Grand Yoff, West-Fair, Airport, Golf, etc. It has also participated in the development of interior cities such as Thiès and Ziguinchor. Today, BHS is heavily involved in housing finance for new urban centers, including Diamniadio.

BHS is also opening up more and more to other business sectors to offer individuals a full range of products and services that meet their needs.
