Krutham (formerly Intellidex)

Krutham works with clients across the spectrum of capital, from profit led-investment in emerging markets to philanthropy. We work with investors, banks, capital market infrastructure providers, corporates, insurers, law firms, development agencies, multilaterals, governments and philanthropies to develop products and systems that help mobilise finance to deliver better social outcomes.

Our capabilities range from deep financial analysis of equities and fixed income markets through to philanthropic strategy development. We undertake extensive policy analysis, particularly focused at the role of policy in mobilising investment to achieve social objectives, from youth employment to renewable energy infrastructure. We look at financial systems holistically, from private to public capital, and from institutional investment to public sector spending. We complement that with communications experience, enabling us to work with partners to ensure our research has impact.

Krutham was founded in 2008 in South Africa by Stuart Theobald, Vuyo Jack and Chia-Chao Wu.

Krutham is majority owned by its staff. In South Africa it is a Level 1 BBEEE Contributor.
