About
Endeavour for Provision of Opportunities and Cooperation to Humanity Organization (EPOCHO) is an Afghan nonprofit, non-governmental and non-political organization founded in 2020. EPOCHO envisions Afghanistan as healthy, educated and prosperous state where all Afghans enjoy equal rights without any fear and discrimination. EPOCHO’s mission is to serve the society and pave the way for attaining its developmental goals.
To realize its mission, EPOCHO is going to implements health, education, women empowerment and humanitarian projects in order to support the Afghan needy people in cities and remote areas mainly through (1) provision of quality health services; (2) community development; (3) training and capacity building at professional and community levels; and (4) research on topics of the aforementioned sectors and besides various projects.
At the same time, it focuses on training and capacity building, awareness and mobilization as well as basic service delivery strategies to empower women and youth to resume their leadership roles more effectively in their communities.
Likewise, in response to the current situation, EPOCHO has been engaged in the delivery of Humanitarian Response to the affected population in Afghanistan through implementation of self-projects as well as already designed projects.
EPOCHO’s thematic focus areas are Health, Education, Women Empowerment, and Humanitarian Response. EPOCHO has active cooperation with NARENJ TREE FOUNDATION based in New York, United States and board members in Canada, USA, France, Germany and Sweden.
Philosophy of Existence
EPOCHO came into existence as a response to the lagging society and weak governance in terms of public services foundedlargely by a group of demobilized, free, educated and expert Afghans. Throughout these years, EPOCHO focused primarily on gathering expert and educated Afghans around the globe, building an accountable and efficient framework able to work with national and international institutions, designing and implementing of EPOCHO’s fully funded self-projects.
