Agence francophone pour l'éducation et la formation tout au long de la vie (AEF-Europe)

Francophone Agency for Lifelong Education and Training (AEF-Europe) is in charge of the education and training part of the Erasmus+ programme. This Agency is responsible for promoting, implementing and managing the various programs assigned to it, in compliance with European objectives. It was founded with the mission to:

• Ensure relations with the European authorities for the management, promotion and information relating to the Erasmus+ Programme.
• Ensure the implementation of the actions of the European Union provided for in this programme.
• Ensure sound financial management of credits paid by the European Union. Organize calls for applications.
• Organize the procedures for allocating aid to projects in accordance with the principles of transparency and equal treatment.
• Provide advice and technical assistance to potential candidates as well as to project leaders already authorized.
• Disseminate and promote the achievements and results in order to allow their assimilation by the training and education systems.
• Ensure the management of national programs.
