RIM Plc is financial institution operating in Rwanda with 36 branches all over the country.

RIM Ltd is the fruit and culmination of several stages of institutional development of microfinance projects and parish development funds. Initially, in 1998, microfinance activities were implemented as a PovertyLending Pilot Project, technically and financially supported by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in the Archdiocese of Kigali. In November 2000, the successful experience of this project generated a microfinance program called NKUNGANIRE and at the same time, under the Nkunganire model, other programs were born in the 7 other dioceses: Gitarama, Butare, Gikongoro, Nyundo, Ruhengeri, Byumba and Kibungo.
