Szczecińsko-Polickie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne Sp. z o. o . with its seat in Police was established on February 1, 1997 on the basis of the property of the Police depot of Miejski Zakład Komunikacyjny in Szczecin. The partners of the Company are the Commune of the City of Szczecin and the Commune of Police.

At present, SPPK operates solo and articulated buses of two manufacturers, MAN and SOLARIS.

The main activity of the Company is the provision of transport services in local public transport in Police, Szczecin and neighboring communes.

The Management Board of the Company consists of one person, the first president in the period from February 1997 to December 2002 was Mr. Kazimierz Trzciński.

From January 2003 to July 2008, the function of the president was held by Mr. Andrzej Markowski.
From August 2008, this position was taken up again by Mr. Kazimierz Trzciński.
