MICROPTIC S.L., company based in Barcelona, Spain, is a leading player in the field of research, design, development, sale, installation and service of in-vitro diagnostic systems. Using Artificial Intelligence technology, we are specialized in semen analysis, both human and animal.

It was first established in 1989 with the name of MICROPTIC SCP and change to MICROPTIC SL in 2001. Since its creation it was focused on the software development for image analysis, having a group of Computer Engineers and Biologists collaborating in the project to create the high quality software, adapted to user´s needs.

The company was mainly having all their activity in Spain until 2002, when the Export Department was created, allowing the company to expand it.
