The FJDD in Brief

First cohort in 2013 of HEC students came to carry out the diagnosis of sustainable development in Sanchez, in the Dominican Republic.

The FJDD has a dual mission, which is to educate young people (13 to 35 years old) on current and future environmental issues and the implementation of sustainable development projects in developing and emerging countries.

The FJDD has been in operation since July 2007 and has been recognized as a charitable organization since 2009.

Since its foundation, the FJDD has set up 8 programs that have reached, directly or indirectly, more than 100,000 young people in Quebec and abroad. Over the years, more than 150 partners have supported the development of these different programs.

Since 2013, the FJDD has focused on its international work. It has developed 2 programs (Young people at the heart of change and Inspired Generations) and an initiative (International Competition for Sustainable Campuses) which have been successful on an international scale.

Since 2016, she has devoted herself solely to the deployment of her "Youth at the heart of change" program. 54 projects from 14 countries have emerged since the beginning of its international work.
